Hey there, I’m Rui Mendes, the founder of Acrobatic Wave School. Back in 2014, I decided to turn my passion for teaching and bodyboarding into something more than just a personal pursuit. With years of experience as a bodyboarder and surfer, I found solace and connection in the waves, and I wanted to share that with you.

At Acrobatic Wave School we’ve created a relaxed environment where everyone, regardless of skill level, can come to learn, have fun, and fall in love with the ocean.
